Meet Julie

I'm Julie. Mother of three grown kids, empty nester, married, and living in Northern California with more computers than any one person should own.

For most of my career I built internet applications. Now I edit video — and I watch court. A lot of court. Court Nerds started in 2023 with a laptop, a Zoom link, and a hearing I couldn't stop talking about. Today it's 700+ cases and 136,000 of us who can't look away when somebody tells a judge "I didn't do it" while the video says otherwise.

I'm not a lawyer. I'm the person in the back of the courtroom with the good seat. What I care about is transparency from the bottom up: how the law actually gets applied to regular people, how some of them try to get away with things, and what it costs the rest of us when they do.

Meet Nick

Nick is the host of Court Nerds. He's the one with the camera, the sunglasses, and the bell-bottoms. Julie keeps calling him the cohost. He has filed a complaint. It's pending.

Nick doesn't talk much, but he's in every episode if you look closely.

The Crew

Nick has worn a lot of outfits. These are the hosts you'll see come and go over time.
